What's there to say about Royal Melbourne that hasn't already been said. Golfers from all walks of life consider it to be one of the best courses you'll ever play. Alister Mackenzie built a masterful work of art that is both challenging and playable. So to save myself from having to type up a detailed write-up that surely won't stack up to other detailed write-ups that can be found on the internet, I'm just going to post some of my favorite pics of a wonderful day of golf.

The net-net is simple: Royal Melbourne's West Course is a world-class piece of land that was designed by one of the greatest architects of all time and is maintained by an extremely talented crew. For the true golf lovers out there, this is one of the single best courses in the entire world. The course is ruggedly beautiful and a strategic masterclass. Get there ASAP if you haven't been!
