I'll make it quick because I know no one wants to hear the story about how you played SO GREAT but it to be fair to myself, I have to mention that Mammoth Dunes is the sight of my best round of golf to date (and probably ever if I'm being honest).
Mammoth Dunes is a ton of fun. Its big, bold and gives golfers lots of room to play. The most enjoyable aspect of it is that it is quite inviting and tends to reward good shots. That may sound obvious but I guess the juxtaposition to that is that it doesn't require you to hit great shots to reap rewards. Fairways are wide, hazards are minimal and most greens funnel the ball onto the surface as opposed to repel it.

Just so we're all on the same page... I shot a -7 66 at Mammoth Dunes! As Kevin Garnett so eloquently put it, "ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE!"
