If you're reading this, hopefully you saw the brilliance and beauty of Pine Needles during the 2022 US Women's Open won by Minjee Lee. The course hosted a wonderful tournament and looked spectacular. Here's a few inspirational photos to make sure you add Pine Needles to your itinerary of any upcoming trips to Pinehurst. In my opinion, its the third best course in the area behind Pinehurst #2 and #4.

The summary of my feelings on Pine Needles is as follows: Pine Needles (like O'Doyle) RULES! During my trip to Pinehurst I had the pleasure of playing Pinehurst Nos. 2, 4, and 8 as well as Pine Needles. If I had 10 rounds to play and had to choose which of those courses I would play I would at minimum devote three of my rounds to Pine Needles. It was THAT GOOD! If you find yourself in Pinehurst do the right thing and play Pinehurst #2 and #4 but do not, and I repeat DO NOT, forget to stop at Pine Needles for a round or two.
